William Street Surgery
To assist the doctors at William Street Surgery we have seven reception staff, one practice nurse, two secretaries, a clinical audit manager and a practice manager.
Hersden Surgery
Doctors are available by rota at Hersden Surgery. To assist the doctors we have two dispensers, two receptionists, one practice nurses and a practice manager.
All our staff are trained in patient confidentiality and the medical computer system.

Health visitors
Our health visitor, Jan Hamilton, is here to offer support to families for children under five.
For patients living in Herne Bay, the team of health visitors is based at the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital. There is a drop-in clinic at the Poppy Centre on Tuesday afternoons 1:00 to 3:30pm and Thursday morning from 9:30am to 12:00 noon.
For patients living in Hersden, the team of health visitors is based at Oaten Hill Court, Oaten Hill, Canterbury. There is a community child health clinic at the Hersden neighbourhood centre on the first Tuesday of each month from 10:00am to 11:30am.
Midwives
Midwives can be contacted at The Poppy Centre, Kings Road, Herne Bay. Ante-natal clinics are held on Wednesdays.
